dark chocolate crispy tahini cups

vegan, gluten-free

 

Probably could wait until Halloween to post these but they’re so cute and I want them on my feed ASAP. Say hello to these DARK CHOCOLATE CRISPY TAHINI CUPS!! A simple & festive no-bake recipe to hold you over until your real candy fix comes next weekend :)

INGREDIENTS:

(Makes 12 mini cups)

• 3/4 cup dark chocolate chips⁣

• 1 tbsp coconut oil⁣

• 1/4 cup puffed quinoa (sub rice krispies or anything like that)⁣

• 1/3 cup tahini⁣

• Splash of maple syrup⁣

• Halloween sprinkles⁣

• Flakey salt


DIRECTIONS:

  1. Line a mini cupcake tin with liners.

  2. In a small bowl, melt the dark chocolate and coconut oil. Pour a layer of melted chocolate into each cup and set in the freezer for 5 minutes.

  3. While the chocolate is setting, mix the tahini, puffed quinoa, and maple syrup in a small bowl.

  4. Add about a tsp sized scoop of the tahini mixture to each cup.

  5. Top with another layer of dark chocolate. Add some cute sprinkles and flakey salt if you want!

  6. Freeze for at least an hour before eating and store extra in the fridge.
