salted tahini chocolate chip cookies

vegan, gluten-free, refined sugar-free

 

Been a little while since I’ve found some time to bake but these were totally worth the wait. Introducing your new favorite SALTED TAHINI CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES😇😇 I absolutely loveeee baking with tahini as you can tell from my numerous recipes featuring Soom Foods Tahini 😌 As usual these cookies are vegan, gluten-free, and refined sugar-free!

INGREDIENTS:

• 1/2 cup tahini

• 1 flax egg (1 tbsp ground flax + 3 tbsp water. Mix and let sit for 5 min.)

• 1/4 cup coconut sugar

• 1/2 cup oat flour

• 1/2 tsp baking powder

• Mini chocolate chips

• Maldon salt


DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a small bowl, mix the tahini, flax egg, and coconut sugar.

  3. Add the oat flour and baking powder and mix.

  4. Fold in the mini chocolate chips.

  5. Scoop onto baking sheet and sprinkle with Maldon salt.

  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
